1. What does Forum 35 do?
Forum 35 develops young leaders by undertaking projects which improve some aspect of Baton Rouge. In planning and executing these projects, our members develop skills and connections in the broader community which are useful in future professional or philanthropic endeavors.

2. So, are you guys political or something?
We get that one a lot. Here's the answer: Forum 35 is apolitical. Organizationally, we're not going to endorse anyone running for office or any ballot measure brought before the people. With that said, we really encourage our members to go out and vote in whichever way they want. Conservative? Liberal?  Doesn't matter to us. The only thing Forum 35 is concerned with is increasing the number of young people who vote. The more we vote, the more we'll be heard, regardless of party affiliation or political belief. So, get out and vote!

3. How do I get involved in a Forum 35 project that is of interest to me?
Each project listed on the Forum 35 website will have a link to get in contact with a project chair. Additionally, you can get in touch with any of the Board of Directors. If for some reason you aren't getting a response, you can always contact us using the Contact Us link near the top of the page. Suffice it to say, we are always looking for dedicated volunteers to make each project successful.

4. Where do I find a calendar of upcoming events?
The calendar of upcoming events is posted on our website in the menu to the right. Forum 35 members are encouraged to RSVP & register for events by logging into this website and registering through the calendar.

5. Are there any membership requirements?
The membership requirements to join are to pay dues and be at least 21 years of age. Our mission is to develop young leaders. Therefore, voting members must be between ages 21-40, but you can be over 40 and still be a member. For more information concerning memberships, Click Here.

6. Can I bring a non-member to events as a way of introducing them to the organization?
Yes, you are encouraged to bring non-members to events, especially service events. We have, on occasion, had Member's Only events. If that is the case, the event will be prominently listed as such on the calendar.

7. How do I recommend a project to Forum 35?
We’re always looking for new projects. If you have an idea for a project that Forum should consider, please contact Irina Sterpu, Vice-President of Projects for assistance.

8. Are membership renewals automatically sent out each year?
Membership renewals are automatically sent out one month before the anniversary of your joining. If the dues are not received after the deadline, a reminder email is sent out that your dues have expired and you must send in dues to renew. With our new and improved website, you may elect to set-up convenient automatic recurring payments through your credit card.
 
9. Does Forum 35 have a facebook account? What about twitter? Any other social media?
Facebook? Check. Twitter? Working on it. Check! Other Social Media? Not really. If you can think of great ways for us to leverage other social media platforms, let us know.

10. I am a member of Forum 35, but I never receive your weekly email. Is there something I can do?
An errant email address or technical issue occasionally causes delivery issues for our weekly email communication, the Forum Flash. If you don't believe you are receiving your Forum Flash, first check that your email address is correct in your profile by signing into the website and clicking profile maintenance on the right.
