Art Melt is the largest multi-media, juried art exhibit in the state of Louisiana. Art Melt strives to promote professional artists throughout the state of Louisiana while providing an opportunity for the public to experience the best of local fine art, music, and performing arts. One Book One Community
The One Book One Community initiative aims to use a common and compelling reading experience to: one, inspire thought-provoking dialogue among readers; two, to increase visibility of issues relevant to the community; and three, to raise awareness of literacy issues within our area. The cultural diversity initiative strives to help build a Forum 35 that represents the community we live in. John W. Barton, Sr. Community Leadership Development Program
This program enables members to develop their leadership skills for community board service while promoting community involvement and volunteerism in Baton Rouge. Chair: Paige Johannessen, firstname.lastname@example.org
Leadership Hour comprises quarterly, hour-long training sessions designed to teach skills and offer time for discussion around issues to strengthen leadership qualities.
