Service Projects

Join this committee.

The Forum 35 Service Projects Committee decides what projects and volunteer opportunities to offer the membership and then coordinates our involvement in the service activity.

The Service Projects Committee is dedicated to finding projects that improve Baton Rouge. The committee offers short-term (often single-day) volunteer events so members can sample a variety of projects before committing to one or two projects. Examples of community partners we have served include St. Vincent de Paul, Companion Animal Alliance, BREC, Inner Wheel Trash and Treasure, Youth Oasis, and the school recipients of our annual Public Education Project renovation.

Join the committee to:

  • sample a variety of volunteer opportunities
  • help choose and plan Forum 35's future volunteer projects, and
  • meet other members dedicated to serving the Baton Rouge community

Get involved today, and check the calendar for upcoming committee meetings and volunteer events!

Time commitment: Monthly committee meetings; Committee aims to organize one volunteer project a month.

Chairs: Andrea Jerabek & Meredith Laborde, service@forum35.org
