The Ogden Park Prowl is a neighborhood arts festival in Mid City, put on entirely by volunteers who live in the neighborhood. Forum 35 volunteers are needed to help at a few of the houses that host stages (setting up the stages, etc.), pick up trash at the end of the festival (never that bad--all neighbors put out trash cans in their yards), man the bike riding station (they let attendees ride unique bikes around the neighborhood), etc.

The Ogden Park Prowl is a neighborhood arts festival in Mid City, put on entirely by volunteers who live in the neighborhood. Neighbors host artists (visual, performance, culinary etc.) in their front yard. There will be several stages setup throughout the neighborhood. Last year the neighborhood hosted about 100 local artists, and an estimated 1,500 attendees. The website is being updated, but the Facebook page is here: https://www.facebook.com/OPProwl/

The festival is completely free to attend and they do not take any commissions from the artist's work (they only charge a small fee to participate to help pay for police presence, stages, etc.).

Ogden Park is located behind The Radio Bar, near Baton Rouge High. The festival spans from Government Street to North Boulevard and Bedford Drive to Beverly Drive.
