Each year, the service committee partners with one of Forum 35's corporate sponsors for a day of service.  This year we will be partnering with Hannis T. Bourgeois for a Service Saturday at the Youth Oasis Children's Shelter located off S. Acadian Thruway (near Baton Rouge General Mid City).  Plan to join us on Saturday, June 30th from 9:00am to 1:00pm to help us give this children's shelter a makeover!!

Some of the projects we will be completing/participating in include:

Spray painting furniture
Reupholstering chairs
Deep cleaning the shelter
Fixing a staircase
Installing window units
Installing washing machines
Cooking dinner for the kids
1 or 2 people to review Quickbooks file

There is much work to be done so we would love to have a great turn-out!  Come for the whole time or just a couple hours, any and all assistance is appreciated to help out this safe place for the children and teens of Baton Rouge.  For more information about their mission, visit http://www.youthoasis.org/home.
