Forum 35’s Cultural Diversity Initiative

The purpose of the Cultural Diversity Initiative is to help build a Forum 35 that represents the community we live in. This is done by promoting dialogue, discussion, and activities that expose our current membership to Baton Rouge’s rich and diverse culture. With our enthusiasm and support we hope to also encourage those we meet to join us in our journey towards a Baton Rouge that embraces difference.

About Forum 35

Founded in August 1993 to inspire young professionals to become involved with philanthropic organizations and activities, Forum 35 is a community of young men and women improving Baton Rouge. To accomplish our mission, we are developing the next generation of leadership, embracing diversity and leveraging arts and culture to create a more vibrate place to live, work, and play.

Dialogue on Race Louisiana Association

The Dialogue on Race Louisiana Association brings together organizations and individuals already working to end the racial divide in order to maximize their collective efforts. The six-session, once a week series is facilitated by a bi-racial team and provides a structured conversation. This structure enables the participants to have a safe, open and honest dialogue around race. This ultimately leads to greater understanding and positive action
