BATON ROUGE – Forum 35’s Uncorked donated
more than $650.00 to Triumph Kitchen from their March 27 event. The check hand-off occurred May 7 and was accepted by Chef Chris Wadsworth of Triumph Kitchen.
The March Uncorked event, held in downtown Baton Rouge at Triumph Kitchen and Ruffino’s Catering
at De La Ronde Hall, had 107 attendees.
co-chair Christy Chachere said, “We were very excited to support our charity
partner Triumph Kitchen run by Chef and Sommer Wadsworth, a non-profit venue
that serves as a training facility for at risk youth in learning culinary,
hospitality and life-skills to build successful futures, at the last Uncorked
event. We had a great turnout with delicious food from Ruffino's Catering at De
La Ronde Hall and fun entertainment by Minos the Saint!"
Forum 35's Uncorked hosts wine tasting events three
times per year on behalf of benefitting local charities. Each event features a
different local charity at a different location with a rotating selection of
wine. Proceeds from each event benefit Forum 35 and the charity being featured.
