Forum 35 Announces New Leadership Series

BATON ROUGE – Forum 35 today announced a new initiative, Forum 35’s Leadership Hour, under its leadership pillar. The first of the quarterly events is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19 at the Main Library from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Chaired by Forum 35 member and Director of Talent Development for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber Melissa Thompson, PhD, the series will kick off with the topic “What Does Leadership Mean to You?”.

"Leadership is one of Forum 35's core pillars, so we are excited to be adding new programming to support that initiative," said Kelly Bienn, Forum 35 president. "Our members are the future leaders of the Baton Rouge community, and are hungry for opportunities to learn and grow professionally. We are looking forward to exploring member-driven topics and building this series into a valuable resource for young professionals city-wide."

The events will focus on professional development topics suggested by the membership, in formats ranging from interactive workshops to panel presentations. An unofficial happy hour will follow each program, allowing participants to continue the conversation in a social setting.

Forum 35's Leadership Hour is free for members of Forum 35 and $30 for nonmembers. Space is limited. Registration can be found online at forum35.org.
