The Blue Ribbon Commission on East Baton Rouge Public Transit has completed its final report on the way forward for public transportation in East Baton Rouge Parish. Thanks to the Forum 35 members who closely followed this initiative and participated in the survey. Additionally, thanks to Forum 35 member Cassie Felder for serving on the Commission. In compiling the final product, the Commission carefully considered a variety of options and funding methods and arrived at what they believed to be the most viable and effective conclusion which mirrored input from the public.
Do yourself a favor and read the final report, you'll almost certainly see this as a ballot item sometime in the near future.
