Forum 35 Invites Everyone to Get Hot About Volunteerism at 2012 Forum Fever

BATON ROUGE, La— Forum 35, a community of engaged young men and women dedicated to improving and shaping Baton Rouge, announced their annual volunteer rally, Forum Fever is set for Wednesday, February 8, from 6-8 p.m. at the Lyceum Ballroom at 124 Third Street in downtown Baton Rouge. The annual event offers new, current and prospective Forum 35 members the chance to learn more about the organization, as well as its various events, projects, committees and other opportunities to volunteer.

"Volunteerism is the foundation of Forum 35," said Forum 35 President Jessica Boone. "Our members give freely of their time and energy to move Baton Rouge forward through a variety of community activities. We truly embrace volunteerism as a viable method of changing Baton Rouge for the better and we invite the community to join us in our efforts and to learn more about those efforts at this year's Forum Fever," Boone said.

Verni Howard, vice president and senior commercial relationship manager with Whitney Bank will be the featured speaker at this year's event, speaking on the important role Forum 35 and volunteerism plays on the future of our community.
