Forum 35 VP Diversity Job Description:

 The Vice President of Diversity is responsible for promoting diversity within the organizations membership. Which may include program development and implementation.

Oversees Cultural Diversity and Food Showcase committees.

Daily/Ongoing tasks:

  • Management of committees

    • Communicate with chair(s) about needs and Forum policies/SOP

    • Approve committee level actions/ or bring to board for approval as necessary

  • Coordinate with other VPs on projects/initiatives

  • Identify/solicit/coordinate for new initiatives/partnerships relating to diversity programming

Monthly tasks:

  • Monthly reporting for board meetings:

    • Cultural Diversity Panels: Provide update on panel (next, and debrief)

    • Other committee/event progress

  • Be present at Forum 35 events.

  • Attend EC meetings.

  • Attend Board meetings.
